Mi Design Studio is a Gold Coast based design studio specialising in Residential Design, Commercial Design & Interior Design.

Michael Tomlinson

DIRECTOR

Michael entered the industry in 1997 and over the years has designed and documented a range of projects from modest residential homes, through to highly complex designs. Throughout his career, he has achieved numerous industry awards and enjoys all aspects of the design industry. Michael’s expertise is not limited to domestic residential projects. His extensive portfolio of projects includes the design and development of numerous child care centres, a boutique resort and medical centres. Michael is an active member within the industry associations moving from the President of the Gold Coast BDAQ to the Vice Chair of the BDAA Gold Coast chapter. Michael is also registered as a building practitioner in Victoria and NSW.

Dylan Oswald

DESIGNER

Dylan joined Mi Design Studio in 2015 and has enabled the practice to expand and take on more dynamic projects. Dylan has been a welcomed addition to the team. Prior to joining Mi Design Studio, Dylan completed his Certificate III Carpentry apprenticeship under the guidance of Laing O’Rourke. He then went on to complete his Diploma of Building Design in 2015. Dylan’s onsite experience in a wide variety of projects has given him a depth of knowledge and the foundations to incorporate practical solutions into a range of complex projects.
